Practical Ways to Lose Hunger During the Day

Instead of an in-depth article, this one is focused on some quick and easy ways to lose hunger during the day. Remember, when you lose your hunger it will help you lose fat, but make sure you eat because starving yourself will also not help fat loss!

Lose Hunger with These Tips to Help Eat Less

 

• Eat more slowly; don’t eat everything on your plate right away. Amazingly enough, in studies this has been shown to help you to lose hunger; the results are around a 20% reduction in the number of calories consumed. This is due to the stomach having more time to tell your head that it is full. This one tip has helped me a lot.
• Drink some water. Water helps to make your stomach feel more full and will help you lose hunger throughout the day. It’s not the most powerful method to lose hunger, but it is one that has side health benefits as well. Water helps to flush your body out. Try to drink at least half a gallon (64 oz.) of water per day.
• Try some Tiny Mints. These cool little mints have been shown to reduce appetite by over 50%, reducing the amount eaten at meals and cutting out snacking. They contain a powerful USP certified blend of pharmaceutical grade ingredients. These mints have helped me enormously in permanently keeping extra fat off. They have helped me to change my eating behavior and lose hunger when my appetite gets out of control.
• Go for a run! Running is good for you and helps keep your mind occupied. You would be surprised how many snacks you can forget about simply by going for a good run. You’ll also exercise some calories out of your body, which is a key part of leading a healthy lifestyle, in addition to it helping you lose hunger. In this case, walking cannot substitute for running since walking does not have the same intensity to be able to occupy the mind.
• Try to envision what a snack means to you – for me, it was effective to imagine a Snickers bar stuck to my belly. It can help you to lose hunger quite quickly if you think of snacks as something bad.
• Go have a conversation or call someone. Having a good, deep conversation can help to lose hunger for over 45 minutes, without realizing it. It’s a good tactic before a meal or while coming home.

These are just some of the top tips I recommend to clients. To lose hunger most effectively, remember that eating less and in moderation is key to what you’re doing – losing fat. These tips (especially the mints) can deliver a powerful blow against hunger. The key to successfully losing fat is to eat less calories than you need for energy; these tips are a great way to get there.
